Sculptural Glass Art ‘Wedge White’ by Jessamy Kelly

‘Wedge White’ is another fine example of kiln-formed sculptural glass art by Jessamy Kelly. Made up of white, steel blue and clear kiln cast glass, this piece has been handcrafted using diamond cutting methods. Finally, it was sandblasted to give the final flourish and weighing in at 13kg, this is certainly a mighty piece!

This thought-provoking piece deserves to be positioned in pride of place in a well-lit spot on a shelf or mantelpiece. A visually arresting, large glass sculpture that will certainly stimulate many conversations.

In addition to her academic achievements, Jessamy is an award-winning artist.  She won the craft & design Selected Maker of the Year Gold Award. She also won the First Prize at The Meffan Winter 2010 Exhibition.
