Contemporary Vases ‘Enveloped’ by Remigijus Kriukas

These simple contemporary vases are made using hand-blowing and free forming, where previously hand-blown pieces of glass are attached to one another to create bigger and bolder pieces.

The artist’s technique here is an understated beauty. The shards of free-formed glass are delicately attached to the vase as a rose petal to a stem.

There is no greater humility than understatement in glass and this piece is sure to be a cherished statement piece.
