Remigijus Kriukas was born in Lithuania in 1961. He has been making beautiful glass for almost 30 years and has won admirers on almost every continent. His artwork is highly unique and full of detail. His work was exhibited in many countries around the world.
When staring into one of his pieces it is hard to work out exactly how he manages to make some of these mind-blowing items. They are like puzzles made of glass whose sole purpose apart from their ravishing beauty seems to be to perplex the admirer, as they try and fathom out how it was made.
Remigijus Kriukas is a glass magician and manages to conjure up art glass from molten globules that are so far removed from his utterly stunning finished products it beggars belief.
