Hand Blown Perfume Bottle ‘Seurat’ Glass by Sanders and Wallace

Seurat Glass Hand Blown Perfume Bottle is a vivid oil spot style glass perfume bottle which gathers in the light and gives out some superb reflections. Whether you set this piece on a French dresser, sunny window sill , shelf or mantel, you will be delighted with the results. The glass has the magical quality of giving our a glossy aura wherever you position it.

At 15cms tall it can hold its own and be placed with other items without losing impact. The golden speckles of sandy spotting traverse into sea blue to give a sun sea and sand look that blends together seamlessly.

As well as being reminiscent of Seurat’s pointillist style, the swirling darkening blue sky evokes thoughts of the starry night skies in Van Gogh’s paintings. Each bottle is slightly different and each one has its own story to tell.

This hand blown perfume bottle is an example of refined understated elegance while still being a lot of fun.

I have a substantial perfume bottle collection (I add about one a year). One is carved wood, a couple are antique/vintage, but most are handblown glass signed by the artist. I chose this beautiful Seurat Glass Perfume Bottle to add to my collection because of the colors and the ‘bubble’ technique used to add interest to the piece.

It is magnificent. I haven’t added it to the collection yet because I’m still enjoying it’s unique beauty on a solo basis.
