Seashore Wall Art ‘Coastal’ by Amanda Deadman Art
This seashore wall art, ‘Coastal’, is inspired by Amanda’s time growing up on the South coast of England, windsurfing and sailing with her Father. They would also beach comb for shells, pebbles and driftwood for her collections.
‘Coastal’ is part of the stunning ‘Shorelines’ collection of seashore wall art. Each shell and stone is hand moulded and coloured with watercolour. She mounts each individual piece on a tiny foam-board plinth to form the whole piece. The shadows created as a result also add depth and character to the piece.
Bring the beauty of the seashore into your home with this lovely wall art. Allow your mind to drift off to the seaside as you gaze at this gentle piece of art.
Materials: Watercolours and metallic watercolours, moulded watercolour paper, in a deep box frame glazed with Perspex. Each element is enhanced by moulding the shells and striped pebbles using watercolour paper. Amanda uses polymer clay to make the sea glass.
N.B. This beautiful seashore wall art can also be commissioned in shells in any colour combination and size of your choosing.
