Choose this lime green and silver leaf design glass scent bottle by Kalki when you want to add a little sparkle to nature. The delicate silver leaf design complements the lime green glass perfectly, the opaque white glass stopper making the intrinsic leaf design the focal point of the piece. This unique combination of lime green and silver shows off Kalki’s deep connection with nature perfectly and his ability to mix and blend colours to a tee.
Interpret the design however you like, the silver leaves symbolising the frost found on the leaves in winter, or the sparkle of leaves as they dry after rainfall. These hand-crafted green perfume bottles stand at 15 cm tall including the stopper. The perfect gift for nature lovers and for women who love the natural scents that bring them together with the environment.
Green Perfume Bottles Artist
Kalki’s relationship with glass started at the tender age of 13 when he came across a glass art studio in Northern Ireland. Moving from the South with his family, he would spend as much time as possible hanging out at the Glass Studio he had stumbled across. Kalki finished his secondary school education, spending as much as possible of his spare time at the studio. America was his destination on completing school, and here he would learn more about his passion by visiting several studios and getting to know their individual artists.
On return from America, Kalki enrolled at Sunderland University to study for a BA honours degree in Glass, Architectural Glass, and Ceramics. His passion for glass had become intensified during his time in America, and in 2007 he graduated from Sunderland. 2008 took Kalki to Australia, and on his return, he was to start working for the Jane Charles Studio of Glass in Sunderland as well as the National Glass Centre.
Today, Kalki continues to work in Sunderland, for both studios, and as a glass blower and practising glass artist. Kalki’s works, like these green perfume bottles, are inspired by many fields including science, the natural world, colour, and culture. Molten glass is the perfect material for expressing and capturing his inspirations, Kalki loving to share his fascination with glass with others through his works.
