Aqua Glass Sculptures ‘Aqua II’ by Lisa Pettibone

Each of these fine Aqua Glass Sculptures is made using blended opalescent turquoise glass that has been magically slumped to create this cavortingly cute jet-cut glass.

Fired to soften the sharp, water-jet cut edges the piece is one of a series of three.

Based on the hypnotic gravitational pull of the moon on the sea, the piece shows water’s innate elasticity.

The piece can be displayed in a variety of positions to enable you to create the most attention-grabbing look for your interior design plan.

Lisa Pettibone Glass – a UK based artist originally from California with a background in graphic design. Her practice questions how force, energy and shapes bring the world together as filtered through human perception. She then turns these ideas into creative and sculptural forms.

Using a variety of media and materials, Lisa creates directional sculptures (glass, fabric, paper, and plastic). She also uses printmaking and photography to research how man and nature interact.
