Her humour will encourage you to laugh out loud or raise an eyebrow. One of her most popular collections that sold our was her ‘Recession’ potteries. This design was a tribute to the economic turmoil and uncertainty that the world faced in 2008. Designs from the series include a cityscape of Stoke-on-Trent, rain lashing down on the cobbled streets, in a manner that was reminiscent of the times of L.S Lowry. Houses and churches were depicted on a slant, and factories dominated the landscape.
