Roberta Mason

Roberta Mason glass art is strongly influenced by water and our relationship with the environment. Roberta utilises kilnforming and hot glass techniques and often intersects glass with other materials to drive narrative.
Roberta is the glass artist behind Blue Chromis Glass and has been exhibiting her work since 2010. Glass is the perfect material for her as it has all the right properties and characteristics, such as transparency, opacity, reactivity and flow.
Roberta is a Selected Maker for Craft and Design Magazine, a Contemporary Glass Society member, and a member of the Scottish Glass Society, and Handmade in Britain.
The quote that constantly inspires her work is by Aristotle; “The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.”
As well as attending Master Classes to evolve her designs, Roberta is currently studying 3D Design in ceramics and glass.
Roberta’s work is gathering admirers across the world and Boha Glass are delighted to be able to showcase some of her work in our online gallery.
