Remigijus Kriukas Glass is highly regarded and lovingly created by hand.

Remigijus Kriukas was born in Lithuania in 1961 and graduated from the Lithuanian State Institute of Fine Arts in 1985 where he honed his glass-making skills. In 2000, after 7 years as a designer for Lithuanian Glass company Panevio Stiklas he set up his glass studio in Panevys.

His studio produces a range of glass ornaments, glass paperweights, glass business awards and trophies, and mixed media for interior and exterior design projects.

Remi’s studio is one of the pioneers in Lithuania of combining metal and glass. His studio also combines glass with wood and stone.

His work has been bought by many of Europe’s finest art and glass museums including Frauenau Glass Museum in Germany, Ukraine’s Lviv Art Museum and Museum of Glass, Lithuanian Art Museum, Budapest Art Museum in Hungary.

Remigijus Kriukas has also had his own individual exhibitions held in Vilnius in Lithuania in 1993, Haapsalu, Estonia (2005), and Moscow and Seattle (2006).

His work is stylish and very modern with a wide and eclectic mix of pieces to suit all tastes.

From pretty glass ornaments to strong ultra-modern paperweights, he has created a wide array of styles. His work is masterful and are true collector’s pieces which are popular right across Europe and right around the world.

Some of his glass crystal paperweights are unfathomable in their complexity and some of the contortions he makes the bubbles perform are truly mind-boggling. His crystal formula is very fine and a closely guarded secret!
