Yellow Glass Paperweight Artist
Master glass technician and artist, Adam Jablonski was born in 1936 in Wilczkowice, Poland. In a career that amazingly spanned almost half a dozen decades, beginning in 1952, he was awarded gold stars by the presidents of Poland and has had his works exhibited in some of the richest art glass collections right around the world. Adam Jablonski has retired in 2010 after a storied career that spanned nearly sixty years. His most highly regarded achievement is his works being displayed in the world famous art glass museum, the Corning Glass Museum. Vases, chandeliers, decorative elements and sculptures, ash-pans, bottles, olive lamps, glass fruits and paperweights are all within his repertoire. All of his works have unique shapes and exceptional colouring. Although now retired, glass masterpieces of Adam Jablonski are still bought today by wealthy and well-known persons such as kings, presidents and prime-ministers from countries such as Sweden, Spain, France, USA and Russia.
