Teardrop Glass Artist
When Adam Jablonski was born in Wilczkowice, Poland back in 1936, no-one could have guessed the impact that he would go on to make in the art world. Jablonski has been making glad since 1952, and has delivered work of the utmost beauty in the years since. The combination of new techniques and his own furnace delivered glass pieces unlike anything ever seen before.
Mr. Jablosnki retired back in 2010, but not before receiving 12 gold stars from Polish presidents over the years. His work is equally at home in the greatest art galleries of the world, as well as in the residences of royalty and dignitaries the world over. The window of opportunity to have an original Jablonski piece in your own home is closing fast, with demand for his final works at an all-time high.
His work has received international acclaim and many art galleries and art museums have exhibited his work. His most favoured accomplishment came when the famous Corning Museum of Glass in America took interest in his glass and began showcasing it.
In its heyday the Jablonski studio was exporting glassware to 18 countries worldwide, including countries with well established glass making industries of their own, such as Scandinavia,Italy, USA, France, Canada and China.
